About Kathleen Mayor-Lynn, MD
Dr. Mayor-Lynn graduated with honors from the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences before pursuing her medical degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine. She remained in Miami for her internship and residency, where she was recognized with the Mary Jo O’Sullivan Award for Excellence in Obstetrics and the Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures Award, as well as numerous teaching honors. She went on to complete a fellowship in Maternal–Fetal Medicine and a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation at the University of Florida. Following her fellowship, Dr. Mayor-Lynn moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where she joined The Maternal Fetal Group, an affiliate of Obstetrix Medical Group, and served as Medical Director for Perinatology at Tristar Centennial Women’s Hospital in 2012. After four years with Obstetrix, she partnered with Dr. Salvatore Lombardi to establish The Perinatal Group, PLLC. Board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal–Fetal Medicine, Dr. Mayor-Lynn is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM), the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), and the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG). She lives in Middle Tennessee with her husband and three children. Her clinical interests include prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, fetal echocardiography, and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.
