About Mark Purvis, MD
Dr. Purvis is a board-certified, second-generation gynecologist who has been delivering exceptional care at OBGYN Associates since 1997. A graduate of both the University of Mississippi’s undergraduate and medical programs, he completed his residency at the same institution, earning numerous academic awards in obstetrics and gynecology throughout his career. Beyond his practice, Dr. Purvis enjoys exploring the natural beauty of the Tennessee River and local hiking trails. A classically trained pianist, he is also deeply involved in civic and church organizations alongside his wife, Kate Noble, a Huntsville native. Together, they have two children and one beloved granddaughter, who affectionately calls him "Doc."
