Melanie Carter, FNP

Melanie earned her nursing degree from Oakland University after attending Oakland Community College and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at South University. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Melanie provides comprehensive women's healthcare with a commitment to continually expanding her expertise in the field. Inspired by the compassionate care she received from a nurse midwife during her first pregnancy, she strives to create a welcoming, patient-centered environment where women feel safe, heard, and supported. Melanie believes in building trusting relationships and helping patients make informed decisions about their health. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, exercising, prioritizing self-care, and spending time with family and friends.
