About Nathan White, MD

Dr. White joined Comprehensive Woman’s Care in 2023. Raised in Metro Detroit, he received his Bachelor in Biopsychology from University of Michigan, followed by his medical degree from Wayne State University. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI, and received his MBA in Healthcare from Oakland University in Rochester, MI. He also served as a PA Preceptor for Wayne State University’s Physician Assistant Program from 2012-2019. Dr. White treats a multitude of women’s issues—from painful periods, pelvic pain, and abnormal bleeding to urinary incontinence and menopausal symptoms, providing innovative and compassionate women's care at every stage.

I am writing this years after I had my...

I am writing this years after I had my son, he will be 13 in August. Dr. White is the most amazing OBGYN!! I would give him way more than 5 stars if I could. I think about how he changed my life almost every day. When my son was born, his newborn screening came back positive for cystic fibrosis. We did follow up appointments with a pulmonolgist who diagnosed him with CF. My husband and I were so upset about the news. I requested my screenings that Dr. White had me complete when I had my first child, to compare to my son's results. Dr. White learned of this news and took time after work to personally call me. That phone call changed my life and I pursued further genetic testing. My son was misdiagnosed with CF (he is a carrier for the disease). Dr. White is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever met. I am now an ICU nurse who works with many physicians and Dr. White is over the top amazing!! There are very few physicians like Dr. White that personally put their heart and soul into their work. I will be honest, I contemplated coming back to Dr. White when we moved to Colorado. He is a wonderful doctor!!
