Lab Tests
PROVIDING CONVENIENT ON-SITE TESTING
Women may experience unique health complications and are at a higher risk of developing certain diseases and conditions than men. For this reason, it is essential for women to undergo regular screenings to identify and potentially prevent complications before they progress or worsen.
Why On-Site Testing Matters
Women are at increased risk for specific health conditions — from reproductive to chronic diseases — making regular screenings essential for early detection and prevention. Whether you're managing symptoms or taking a proactive approach to your health, our on-site testing services offer convenience, speed, and peace of mind.
Comprehensive Lab Testing Services
Pap Smear
A routine screening that collects cervical cells to check for signs of cervical cancer. Recommended every 1–3 years for women starting around age 21, continuing through age 65.
Fecal Occult Blood Test (FOBT)
This stool sample test detects hidden blood, which could signal colon cancer or polyps in the rectum or colon.
Urinalysis
Used to detect a range of conditions including urinary tract infections (UTIs), kidney disease, and diabetes. Abnormal results may require additional diagnostic testing.
STD Testing
Depending on the type of infection, your provider may recommend a urine sample, blood test, or swab to screen for sexually transmitted diseases.
Specialized Women’s Health Screenings
Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) & Yeast Infections
If symptoms arise, a sample of vaginal discharge is tested to measure pH levels and determine the presence of one or both infections, which can occur simultaneously.
Group B Streptococcus (GBS)
Often asymptomatic, GBS can be passed from mother to baby during delivery. Testing during pregnancy helps prevent complications for newborns.
Genetic Screening
Includes prenatal genetic testing for chromosomal or inherited conditions, as well as cancer risk screening to detect mutations that may increase cancer susceptibility.
Preventive Vaccination
TDAP Vaccine
Though not a lab test, this vital vaccine protects against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough). It’s recommended for adults and during pregnancy to safeguard both mother and baby.
